mr lim asked me a question during the guitar class so how do you want to fill up the registration form for the competition a matter of which i gave a thought for about a month now within that particular moment the question reverberates in the not so big nor small class with a total of 7 people then i gave him a question as my answer are you confident that i will make it with only 2 pieces and with one i have yet to write down on lines transposing the whole 420 seconds long piece which is also one that has techniques never been put to use on the guitar the rest of the 5 in the class stood silently just holding their guitar and looked at both of us ya hor then came out from his mouth with only 2 done i can go practically nowhere dont expect me to learn a piece in a week well the playing out is hmm ok but the tone the interpretation the emotion the the aggressiveness all that a great example is asturias took me a yr to experiment with tone and expressions then what about yizhu which is worse took me 2 yrs to play it on pipa transposing it mentally playing it directly on guitar based on memory work refining it which chinese feel combination suits the piece best and getting rid of european feel when playing it in which chinese style of classical solo pieces lack apegios and stuff but emphasis of the tonation when the note is produced the spaces in between notes phrases alot so the conclusion prepare for next year then
